Planning

I wanted to do Payne Crop nutrition as I had a contact there, My dad has worked from them for nearly 3 years so I now I have somene I can easily get hold of if I have any questions or require feedback. However I wanted to through David, another employee of Payne Crop Nutrition who designed their website for them, He would know what they would want from a website, so I decided that I would email David to see if I had consent to use them as my client

Thankfully, David said yes and I could begin work on my website with Payne Crop Nutrition as my client. I was hoping to be ale to speak to David once a week or at the very least once a fortnight because I knew how busy they are during the winter months which is there busy season.

I have completed a risk assessment for my production visit to Payne Crop Nutrition on 18th February. This is important as Payne Crop Nutrition is a ver busy company with lots of machinery and vehicles in constant oparation so I need to understand what risks there were on site and what I needed to do to avoid injury

Early drafts for my web layout examples:

Homepage:
I am hoping that I can to make my homepage interactive by having a video at the centre of the homepage,If possible want this video to show some of the machines in action. Behind that I would like an image related to Payne Crop Nutrition such as a image of their branded bags or one of their trucks. Along the side, I would like the menu to be displayed. This will hopefully appear on all pages so the viewer can easily find their way through their website.

Our Team potential Design:
The our team page will be a gallery of images of the Payne Crop team. It will feature a new picture taken by me on my visit to Payne Crop Nutrition on the 18th February. The viewer will be able to click oneach image, allowing them to find out more about each individual employee, what they do and  contact information for that employee. You will be able to scroll down the page to view each employees picture.

About us- template layout:
For my about us page, I want to have a another video showcasing what Payne Crop do,I am hoping to record this on my vist to the site on 18th February. This will provide some context to what the description says. I will be using the same description that is currently on the actual Payne Crop webiste. I ill be doing this because, I do not kow anything about fertilser so I'd rather use the information that is correct than get it wrong and give the wrong information to Payne's clients.
You will also be able to scroll down the page and find out more about

  • Plant and logistics
  • Vision and Strategy
  • Enviroment and Sustainability
all the information will once again come from the current  Payne Crop website.
